Sumerduck Motorsports Park hosts a two-day drag racing event July 10-11. Friday features test and tune only with gates opening at 5 p.m. and lanes opening at 6 p.m. Saturday’s competition day begins at 2 p.m. with lanes opening at 4 p.m.
Saturday classes include a 5.30 Index race with $1,000 to win and $100 entry, requiring eight cars minimum. Top ET pays $1,000 to win with $60 entry and 16-car minimum. Footbrake Bracket offers $1,000 to win with $60 entry and 16-car minimum. Small Tire class features $150 entry with $300 on top, winner take all. Bracket Bike Shootout pays $1,200 to win with $80 entry and 16-bike minimum. Bike Heads Up offers $200 on top, winner take all.
Gate admission is $20, free for ages 10 and under. Test and tune costs $40 if not entering a class. Class entry is under the tower with no tech card fee. All classes receive two time runs. Small Tire rules require 275/28-10.5 tires with no W rating, factory quarters and roof, all body panels except hood, no wheelie bars, water burnout only, and pro tree start.
