Showtime Speedway will host Summer Night Skids ’25 in Clearwater, FL, featuring drag racing and drifting on a Saturday night in July. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., with the drift track live at 7 p.m. and drag racing beginning at 8 p.m. The last call is at 11:30 p.m., with both tracks closing at midnight and gates locked by 1 a.m.
General admission, which includes a pit pass, costs $15. Driver bands for the drag strip are $15, drifting driver bands are $50, and rider or passenger bands for the drift track are $5. Kids 12 and under are free. All skill levels are welcome on the drift track. For drag racing, helmets are required for cars running 8.5 seconds or faster. Vehicle tech inspections include checks for fluid leaks, secure batteries, lug nuts, good brakes, bolted seats and belts, no loose items, and proper tire pressure.
