About This Event
Sunrise at the Strip closes the 2026 season at Mooresville Dragway on Saturday, Nov. 21, with gates opening at 9 a.m. and racing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is the last event at the 1/8-mile track before demolition and construction begin on a rebuilt racing facility.
All cars are welcome, including imports, muscle cars, trucks, classics and daily drivers. A $30 gate admission covers entry and unlimited racing, and spectators pay $20. Helmets are not required for qualifying street cars.
The day combines a car show, a cruise-in and grudge racing on the drag strip. The track is at 1255 Wilkinson Rd. in Mooresville.
