The Surf City Classics Car Show takes place Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City. The event features classic cars, rat rods, 4x4s, low riders, motorcycles and American muscle cars. Day-of registration runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Judging is held from noon to 3 p.m., with awards presented at 4 p.m. Trophy categories include Best in Show, Chinook Winds’ Choice, Best Paint, Best Rat Rod, Muscle Car, Best Corvette, Best Modified Corvette, and decade-specific classic car awards from 1939 and older through the 2000s and newer. Additional categories recognize best Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC and Import vehicles, both stock and modified, plus classic trucks, motorcycles and 4x4s.
