The Bob McTaggart 20th Annual Custom & Classic Car Show, hosted by Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE), will take place on Friday, May 1, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in San Jose, California. The event attracts more than 1,000 spectators annually and features custom and classic vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, and club displays.
Vehicle registration costs $25, with pre-registration available via Venmo @MetroED760 by April 24. Tickets are also available at the gate, which opens at 4:30 p.m. Spectator admission is free. There is limited parking, and carpooling is encouraged. No pets are permitted at the event.
The car show raises funds for SVCTE’s Student Competition Group SkillsUSA, and previous events have raised over $10,000. Attendees can enjoy raffles, prizes, food prepared by Culinary Arts students, and live music from Cold Storage. Sponsorship and tax-deductible donations are accepted through the MetroED Foundation.
