Swamp Tales in Carlyle, Ill., will host its 4th Annual BBQ Cook Off and 1st Car Show on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 7901 State Route 127.

The BBQ Cook Off features BBQ ribs as the featured category. Cooking begins at 10 a.m., with judging at 5 p.m. The entry fee is $50, with 100% payback plus trophies awarded. To enter or for cook off information, contact Kent Robert at 618-806-9257.

The car show opens for arrivals anytime after 10 a.m. For car show information, contact Kyle Kreke at 618-920-6854.

Live music will be provided by Hunter Sharp from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
