About This Event
Takeover Sundays at Oakwood Park is a recurring weekly car cruise held every Sunday in Lorain, Ohio. Beginning September 13, 2026, the family-friendly event welcomes cars, trucks, and motorcycles to gather from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM to celebrate local vehicle culture with good music, good food, and positive vibes.
Each week, two vehicles are chosen for the Takeover Sundays Feature Spotlight. Selected owners receive reserved spotlight parking, an exclusive interview to share the story and dedication behind their build, a feature on social media, and digital photos of them with their ride.
Admission is free for both spectators and show vehicles. To ensure a safe, respectful environment for all park visitors, dirt bikes, four-wheelers (ATVs), electric bikes, and electric scooters are strictly prohibited, and attendees must adhere to park rules: no drama, no burnouts, and no excessively loud music.
