About This Event
The Tall Corn Car Club hosts its annual car show in downtown Boone on August 22. Registration runs from 8 a.m. to noon with a $15 entry fee. The show is open to all makes, models and years. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m., including 15 awards in the custom class, 15 awards in the stock/original class, best in show and most likely to be trouble. Participants can explore downtown antique shops, restaurants and music, plus a poker walk. A raffle for a 1932 pink pedal car costs $15 per ticket, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Iowa. Free root beer floats will be provided courtesy of Fareway and BVB. Awards are sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts.
