Texas Gulf Classic

The first annual Texas Gulf Classic car, truck and motorcycle show is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, at Crazy Alan’s Swamp Shack in Kemah, Texas, with a rain-out date of Oct. 18, 2026.

The event is open to all vehicle types, with award categories including Best Motorcycle, Best Truck, Best Hot Rod, Best Modern, Best Classic, Best Japanese, Best European, Best American, Most Unique and People’s Choice. The first five registered vehicles will receive a complimentary Texas Gulf Classic T-shirt; event T-shirts are also available to the public for $20 each.

Pre-registration is $25. Day-of registration is $30 according to the event description, though the flyer lists the day-of fee as $20. Payment is accepted via cash, CashApp or Venmo. Organizer Glenn Sumney notes that only he is authorized to collect registration fees. A 50/50 raffle will be held, and live music is possible pending confirmation.

Proceeds will support future event growth and a hurricane relief fund aimed at assisting those affected by natural disasters. Volunteers and sponsors are welcome. Questions can be directed to the organizer.
