About This Event
The TexRed Music Festival & Cook-Off Car Show takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Galveston County Fairgrounds in Hitchcock, Texas, held in conjunction with the two-day festival and state championship cook-off.

Roll-in runs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with the car show open from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM and awards presented at 5:15 PM.
Festival attractions include live Texas country music, a CBA-certified BBQ cook-off, 1,000 free pumpkins, mutton busting, a petting zoo, and bounce houses. Vehicle registration is $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the show.
