The Kind Hearts Organization presents its Hot Rides & Hot Bowls Chili Cook-Off & Car Show on September 19, 2026, at Necaise Ball Field & Community Center in Perkinston, MS. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Car show registration and setup begins at 8 a.m. with a $30 entry fee that includes one wristband. Awards include Best in Show, Best Engine, People’s Choice Award, Kids’ Choice Award, Best Classic, Best Truck, Best Paint, Best Interior, and more. All makes and models are welcome.
The chili cook-off team setup begins at 7:30 a.m. with a $40 team entry fee that includes two wristbands. Teams consist of two to four members. Trophies are awarded for People’s Choice Award, Kids’ Choice Award, Best Decorated Booth, and more.
Wristbands allow guests to sample chili from participating teams, vote for People’s Choice Chili and Car Show People’s Choice, and enjoy live entertainment and activities. The event features live music, vendors, food and concessions, raffles, and door prizes. Early registration before August 19, 2026, receives $5 off the entry fee. The event benefits community outreach programs.
