The Tire Rack Street Survival teen driver safety school is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, at NH Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H. The program is open to teen drivers and their parents or guardians, who are encouraged to attend alongside their students throughout the day.
The course combines classroom instruction with hands-on, in-car exercises conducted in the student’s own vehicle under the guidance of trained coaches. Classroom sessions cover topics including proper seating and hand position, mirror placement, tire contact patch concepts, weight transfer theory, long-range vision techniques, and situational awareness. Instructors also address driver distractions such as mobile phones and passenger dynamics.
On-course exercises include wet skid pad work, lane change and accident avoidance maneuvers, threshold braking and ABS practice, and slalom driving to reinforce weight transfer principles. Additional exercises – including a two-wheels-off drill and a tailgating awareness demonstration – are conducted where conditions allow. A semi-truck may be staged on site to simulate highway driving scenarios.
