Touch a Truck for Treats

Touch a Truck for Treats is a community event where families can see, touch, climb aboard and learn about the community’s many fascinating modes of transportation and the vital contribution public works professionals make every day. The event is presented by Partnership for Children of Lenoir and Greene Counties.

Attendees can put on their favorite costume, hop in the driver’s seat, make some noise, push some buttons, and ring a siren. The event features various modes of transportation to explore, free professional face painting, food, treats, and candy. From 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, there will be no sirens for guests with sensory needs.

The event accepts donations to support Lenoir Greene Partnership for Children outreach and early literacy initiatives. The Lenoir-Greene Partnership for Children, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible. There is no rain date. All registered vendors, vehicles, volunteers, and guests will be notified of cancellation due to inclement weather.
