Trunk or Treat Car & Truck Show at the Scene

A free Trunk or Treat Car & Truck Show is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Scene, 2997 N. Torrance Ave., Odessa, Texas. Cars, trucks, bikes and motorcycles are welcome, with vehicle entry costing $20 for those interested in competing for cash prizes.

Cash awards of $100 each will be given in vehicle categories including Best Halloween Display Car, Best Halloween Display Lifted Truck, Best Halloween Display Lowered Truck and Best Halloween Display Mini Truck. Costume contest prizes of $100 each will be awarded for Best Toddler Costume (ages 0-4), Best Kid Costume (ages 5-10), Best Young Adult Costume and Best Adult Costume. Additional $100 prizes will go to Best Decorated Vendor Booth and Best Rollin’ Deep Crew, with more categories to be announced.

The event will feature a haunted maze, inflatables, DJ music, live music, Halloween movies on a large screen, backyard games, beer pong, cold beer, food trucks, merchandise vendors and snack vendors. Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles and distribute candy to children.

Vendor spaces are available: $20 for car and truck spots, $50 for merchandise vendors, $100 for food trucks and $50 for food and snack vendors. The event is free for general attendees. For information, call or text 830-313-3478.
