Twisted Tales Trunk-or-Treat & Candy Crawl

The Sweetwater County Library Foundation hosts the Twisted Tales Trunk-or-Treat & Candy Crawl at Expedition Island in Green River. The outdoor trunk-or-treat runs from noon to 4 p.m. and is free, giving families a chance to stock up on candy before evening trick-or-treating.

The Candy Crawl takes place inside the Expedition Island Pavilion for $5 admission. Children work through a Twisted Tales maze on a scavenger hunt, finding candy stations hidden throughout. The first 100 guests through the Candy Crawl enter free, sponsored by Alliance Therapy & Chiropractic.

The afternoon includes raffle baskets, two photo booths and music from two DJs. Specialty spooky drinks come from Ricky’s Sweet Sips, Dirty Cola Sisters & Co. and Higher Grounds Coffee, with Halloween treats from Sweet Indulgence and Western Whisk Cheesecake. Guests can visit Guffman’s Gaming Trailer, watch dance performances by Upstage Theater Company, or get a tarot card reading from Wingspan Way or an aura reading from Manifestations Mediumship.

Businesses and organizations can decorate a trunk outside or host a small Candy Crawl station inside the maze. Participation is by donation only, and proceeds benefit the Sweetwater County Library Foundation in support of local libraries and the Community Fine Arts Center. Registration is available online.
