VFW Post 11355 hosts the Veteran Memorial Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026, at 623 6th Ave. in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with a rain date of Aug. 29. All proceeds benefit veterans.
Registration runs from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for a $20 fee. The first 100 entries receive dash plaques. The show takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with awards presented at 3 p.m.
Awards include Best of Show, Best Paint, and Best Engine. First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded in stock classes (GM, Ford, Mopar, Trucks, Mustang, Corvette, Model A, Tri-Five, 1940 & Older) and modified classes (GM, Ford, Mopar, Trucks, Mustang, Corvette, Model A, Tri-Five, T-Bucket, 1940 & Older). Other classes include Unfinished, Orphan, Hot Rod, Motorcycle, Rat Rod, Working Vehicles, Pro Street, Ugly Truck, Import, and Gasser.
A 50/50 drawing will be held. Veterans will cook hamburgers and hot dogs on site. For more information, contact Randy Crom at 402-753-7618.
