Wayne County Veterans Memorial Park hosts its annual car show in Richmond, Indiana, on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. The event is rescheduled from an earlier date due to weather.
Cars, trucks, hot rods, jeeps and motorcycles are welcome. Registration is $15 per vehicle, with dash plaques awarded to the first 100 entries. Spectators are admitted free.
Trophy categories include Best in Show, Best Patriotic Display, People’s Choice, DJ’s Choice, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 777 Choice, Wayne County Veterans Memorial Park Choice, Top 10, Best Engine, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Military, Best Jeep, Best Corvette, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Modern Car, Best Street Rod and Best Rat Rod. A special Best Patriotic Display award encourages participants to decorate vehicles in red, white and blue.
Music will be provided by DJ Jammin Jimmy. Food will be available from American Legion Riders Chapter 65, and drinks from Ashley’s Roaming Bean.
Proceeds benefit Wayne County Veterans Memorial Committee Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to honoring veterans through artistic and cultural initiatives in the community.
