The Vietnam Veterans of America hosts its 29th annual Firecracker Rod Run on July 4, 2026, at Soddy Lake from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Entry requires a $20 donation. Trophies will be awarded to the top 50 vehicles, along with Veteran’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, Club Participation, and People’s Choice awards. Judging begins at noon, with the awards ceremony at 2:00 p.m. The event includes a swap meet for buying, selling, and trading cars and parts, along with vendors, door prizes, and family-friendly activities.
