About This Event
The Watertown Parks & Recreation Department hosts its annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in the Watertown High School parking lot in Watertown, Connecticut. This community celebration invites local families and children to dress in costume and enjoy safe afternoon trick-or-treating.
Vehicle participants are welcome to decorate their car trunks with creative Halloween displays. The parking lot opens at 1:45 PM for vehicle setup and decorating, and all participating decorated vehicles must arrive by 2:30 PM. For the safety of trick-or-treaters, decorated vehicles may not leave before the event concludes at 4:00 PM. Trunks must provide enough candy to share throughout the hour, and prizes will be awarded across multiple vehicle decorating categories.
Admission for trick-or-treat participants is one large bag of candy per child to share. Advance registration for vehicle trunks is open through the Watertown Parks and Recreation Department website.
