The Town of Wilkinson hosts a car show at Weir Cook Community Park on S.R. 109 in Wilkinson, Indiana. Registration opens at 10 a.m., with the show running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m.
Entry costs $10 per vehicle or bike. No pre-registration is required. The first 75 entries receive a goodie bag and dash plaque. Each registered entry is eligible for judging.
Award categories include Best In Show, Top 5, WPD Choice, Kids Choice, and Town Council Choice. No multiple awards will be given. Door prizes will be distributed throughout the show.
A special feature this year is the Flying Saucer Car, a one-of-a-kind vehicle covered by the Indianapolis Star and Channel 13 WTHR. The car has appeared at the annual Roswell UFO Festival in New Mexico.
Food, games, a 50/50 raffle, and music will be available. Car clubs are welcome and can contact Dan at 765-686-0652 to reserve parking. No rain date is scheduled.
