The first annual Wheels for Honor charity car show takes place Aug. 22 at American Legion Post 29, 3200 Lansing Ave., Jackson. The event benefits Talons Out Honor Flight, which provides trips for veterans. Registration runs 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All makes and models are welcome. Pre-registration costs $10, or $20 day of show. Dash plaques go to the first 100 cars registered. The event features awards, food and drinks, 50/50 raffle, and basket raffles.
