Wichita’s Littlest Heroes Heroween

Wichita’s Littlest Heroes and Jeepers of the Plains host Heroween, a trunk-or-treat event held in loving memory of Grayson Porteous. The community event takes place Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Wichita Family Physicians, 8200 W Central Ave, Suite 1, Wichita. Vehicles line up at 5:30 p.m.

All vehicles are welcome to participate. Each vehicle should bring approximately three large bags (around 250 pieces) of candy or prizes. Non-food treats are highly encouraged, as some children cannot eat candy. Suggested items include stickers, glow sticks, bouncy balls, pencils, slap bracelets, fidget toys, and small toys.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles. The event celebrates children battling life-threatening medical conditions and provides a safe, family-friendly evening of costumes, treats, and fun. West Wichita Family Physicians donated the parking lot for the event.
