The Thayer 39th Annual Watermelon Auto & Tractor Show will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, at McLachlen Park, located under the trees on the west end of Main Street.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. and runs until noon. Judging begins at 10 a.m. Awards will be given for Best Modified, Top 40, and Best Original. Dash plaques will be given to the first 1,001 participants.
Pre-registration forms can be mailed to Randy Studebaker at 6425 Brown Road, Thayer, Kansas, 66776. The pre-registration fee is $10, while the day-of-show registration fee is $15. Vehicles may be registered as Original or Modified, with the latter requiring three or more major modifications.
