Offerle Days celebrates the 150th anniversary of Offerle, Kansas, with a two-day event at City Park. The celebration kicks off Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at 9 p.m. with an outdoor family movie screening of “Grownups” (PG-13).
Saturday, Aug. 29, features a full day of activities beginning at 8 a.m. with breakfast at St. Joe Hall, benefiting the Edwards County Senior Center. The day includes an indoor vendor show from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., a memorabilia display walk-through from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a quilt show at St. Joseph Church from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., benefiting the church.
Car show registration runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with the show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by Rogers Tire and Kinsley Tire. Registration is $25 per entry. An outdoor vendor show at City Park runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m., with lineup at 3rd and Walnut, sponsored by the Edwards County Chamber. Food vendors and a beer garden open at 11 a.m.
Additional activities include bingo at noon with prizes and cash payouts, waterslides and inflatables from noon to 4 p.m. benefiting 4-H Trenton Workers, minnow races from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with cash payouts, and car show awards at 2 p.m. Live music by Band of Rustlers runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., sponsored by Jamie and Abby Heinz.
A cornhole tournament starts at 2:30 p.m. with a $40 per team entry fee and cash payouts for the top four teams. Trike and pedal kart races begin at 4:30 p.m., sponsored by Alliance Ag & Grain, with free entry and cash payouts. Outhouse races start at 6 p.m., sponsored by Schaller Bros Liquor, also with free entry and cash payouts.
Evening entertainment includes Daniel Heelz at 8 p.m., sponsored by KB Electric, followed by Wes Cossman Band, sponsored by Offerle CO-OP. A 50/50 cash raffle drawing takes place at 9 p.m., benefiting the Community Foundation. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m., sponsored by GNBank, Kinsley Food Pride, Victory Electric, and Freedom Claims Management. The beer garden, benefiting Offerle Fire Department, closes at midnight.
Merchandise is available for purchase, including hats for $30, adult tanks and shirts for $25, and the Offerle Community Cookbook for $35.
