The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office has rescheduled the First Responders BBQ Cookoff & Car/Truck Show to Saturday, November 8. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sumter County Civic Center in Sumter, South Carolina. Admission is free and includes raffles and door prizes. Awards for the BBQ Cookoff and Car/Truck Show will be announced at 2:00 p.m.
Grill masters, car and truck entrants, and vendors can sign up by contacting Lt. Mike McCoy at [email protected] or calling 803-774-4098. Vendor and sponsor applications are available online at www.sumtersheriff.org/forms, with the vendor application deadline on October 3.
Sponsors include Simpson’s Hardware, Ricky’s Tree Service, School Equipment Supply, Skipper’s Construction, Brewer’s Powder Coating, State Tree Service, and Infinger Metals.
