The American Legion Post 306 and Scooters for Hooters host a car, bike, truck, and jeep show on September 26 at Fat Ed’s Pavilion in Metropolis. Registration runs from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., with voting from 1 to 4 p.m. Winners will be announced at 5 p.m. The registration fee is $20. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place in each class, as well as best overall show. Proceeds benefit Operation Christmas Cheer. The event takes place at 323 Ferry Street.
