The Friends and Fenders Car and Motorcycle Show takes place Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12995 72nd Ave., across from the Apex Center. The event benefits Foothills Animal Shelter. Attendees are encouraged to bring an item to donate from the shelter’s wish list or visit foothillsanimalshelter.org to donate directly. The show features donuts, drinks and music.
