The Fox Body Cruise at Mustang Week Charlotte takes place Saturday, August 29, with staging from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at 160 Chestnut Avenue in downtown Kannapolis. A mandatory drivers meeting begins at 8:15 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. rollout for a police-escorted cruise to zMAX Dragway.
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Motor Unit will escort participants with motorcycle officers and patrol cruisers. The cruise order places Fox Bodies up front, followed by SN95s, with all other Mustangs behind them. The approximately 25-30 minute cruise arrives at zMAX Dragway around 9 a.m., where the group will make a grand entrance onto the Mustang Week show field before VIP entry begins.
Every participant must have already purchased their Mustang Week pass and have credentials ready upon arrival at zMAX Dragway. The cruise fee is $20 per car, with proceeds supporting Foxy Events. Tickets can be purchased on site or online. Coffee will be available for purchase. The event is presented by LMR.com.
