The 22nd Annual Mt. Lawn Car Show takes place September 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mt. Lawn Speedway in New Castle. Pre-registration is $8 and includes two free breakfast specials; day-of registration is $10. The first 300 registrants receive dash plaques.
Activities include a burnout contest, kids nickel scramble, big wheel and pedal car races, an adult obstacle course, and a $500-plus cash giveaway. Swap meet spaces are available for $10. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Awards recognize the top 15 vehicles from 1957 and earlier, top 15 from 1958 and later, promoters’ choice, ladies’ choice, track choice, top rat rod, long distance, best bike, and best first-generation vehicle. Memorial awards honor Ed Privitt for best Mopar, Hat Pin Willie for best 1955-57 Chevy, and Rich Young for best rod.
