Independence Engine & Hose Co. #1 hosts its 26th Annual Car Show on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 140 North Broadway in South Amboy, NJ. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Admission is free for the general public. Vehicle registration and lineup takes place on Broadway by the firehouse. Advanced entry is $10 per vehicle through the July 31, 2026 deadline; day-of-show entry is $20. Car vendors pay $20 early entry or $25 day of show.
Awards include Chief’s Trophy, Mayor’s Trophy, sponsor award trophies, specialty trophies and People’s Choice Trophy. The event features raffles, 50/50 drawings, prizes and giveaways. Music will be provided by Jukebox Jimmy and Rockin Ronster. Firehouse burgers will be available for purchase.
