Bovamania is a full-day outdoor fundraiser event at VFW Post 9885 “Bova” in Westland, Michigan, benefiting Michigan Operation Freedom Outdoors (MiOFO), an organization that provides adaptive outdoor experiences for wounded veterans and individuals with health challenges.
The day opens with an outdoor gear swap and flea market from 9 a.m. to noon, where attendees can buy, sell, or donate outdoor equipment. A suggested $20 donation per vendor booth supports MiOFO’s mission. The event continues with the Great Lakes Car Meets 10th Anniversary Car Show, featuring custom vehicles on display.
Live music runs throughout the day, with performances by Henry Herig, Grand Circus, and Lee Cleaveland & The Left Hand Band. The evening features a pro wrestling show headlined by Darren McCarty’s Grindtime Pro Wrestling, followed by a closing performance by Grace West, a runner-up from The Voice.
The event is co-presented by Michigan Operation Freedom Outdoors and Deadwood Studio. All proceeds go directly to MiOFO.
