The Charity Car Show for Matt Delay takes place Saturday, Aug. 8, at Chuy’s Baja Grill in Bakersfield, California, with proceeds benefiting local tattoo artist Matt Ryan, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and paralysis following a catastrophic brain bleed during surgery.
The family-friendly event welcomes vehicles of all makes and models. Pre-registration is available at MattRyanOriginals.com, with day-of registration also offered on site. Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories, including Best of Show, Best 4×4, Best Lowered Truck, Best Bike, Best Hot Rod, Best Lowrider, Best Engine, Best Suspension, and Matt’s Choice.
The event features local vendors with limited spaces available, dozens of raffle prizes, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, and exclusive Matt Ryan Originals merchandise. Food will be available on site.
All proceeds support Ryan and his son Felix as Ryan continues medical rehabilitation and recovery.
