The Wyandotte County Historical Museum will host the Chicano Heritage Car & Culture Festival on August 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 631 N 126th St, Bonner Springs, Kansas.
The festival celebrates Chicano culture, featuring a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including gasoline and oil company memorabilia exhibitions, panels on the evolution of Chicano history and the lowrider movement, and a lowrider bike exhibit. The day begins with an automobile parade procession at 11:30 a.m., followed by a lowrider car and bike show. The event also includes live entertainment, vendors, food courts, family games, and activities.
Exhibitions at the Wyandotte Historical Museum will highlight the region’s Latino history, the Chicano movement, and zoot suit culture. The festival is open to all ages and genres.
