The Christian Jeep Association of North Mississippi hosts its 2nd Annual Jeep Meet and Fishing Tournament on August 29 at Stennis Lock and Dam East Bank in Columbus, MS. Fishing registration begins at 4:00 a.m. with blast off at safe light. Weigh-in starts at 1:00 p.m. The event guarantees $1,000 for the fishing winner with close to $5,000 in total cash awards. Fishing payouts include first place $1,000, second place $500, third place $250, big bass $900, and smallest limit $100.
Jeep registration begins at 7:00 a.m. with judging starting at 10:00 a.m. All judging will be done simultaneously, including lights and sound categories. Best of Show receives $500. The event features two sound categories, light competition, and Top 15 awards with over $2,000 in cash payouts for Jeeps. Awards for both fishing and Jeeps will be announced at 1:30 p.m., followed by a parade lineup. No alcohol is permitted.
