The Garage Monkey Junkies Car, Truck and Bike Show will take place at Nolan County Courthouse Square in Sweetwater, Texas. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. with vehicle registration open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m.
The show features cars, trucks, and motorcycles categorized by year and style, including antique, classic, custom, cruiser, sport, import, low rider, original/survivor, trike, patina and rust. Best of Awards will be given for best in show, paint, interior, engine, rat rod, special build, sports car, street rod, work in progress, young gearheads, and club participation.
Students from local welding technology programs will create custom trophies from repurposed engine components. Registration fees are $25 for cars and trucks, and $15 for motorcycles. Pre-registration ends at midnight on Oct. 1 with discounted fees of $20 for cars and trucks and $10 for motorcycles.
