The 5th Annual Hot Wheels for Hot Meals Car Show & Cruise-In takes place on September 27th, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM at 222 E. Madison Ave., Derby, KS. The benefit event welcomes all makes and models of vehicles, with early bird registration at $20 and gate admission at $25. The first 100 registrants receive a complimentary t-shirt and a 2025 dash plaque. Attractions include a KC Chiefs VW Bus photo spot, streaming college football at noon, face painting, food and beverage trucks, outdoor vendor booths, an indoor ‘Fill-a-Bag Sale,’ community displays, and prizes. Special guests feature KC Chiefs legend Mike Bell (11:00 AM–12:00 PM), Wichita State University’s WuShock (12:00 PM–1:00 PM), and school mascots from Derby. Proceeds benefit Feed a Hungry Child, Derby Public Schools.
