The Mexican Recognition Meet takes place Sept. 5 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at 115 Dawkins St. in Aberdeen. General admission is $10 cash. Awards will be presented for Best Truck and Best Car, with winners splitting the admission fee. Judging runs from 7 to 8 p.m. The event features games, music and food.
