The Pan Towners hosts their 51st annual car show and swap meet, held the third Sunday in August. The event features the Top 107 Car Show with cars up through 1954, valve cover races, and a model car contest. A used car corral and craft and vendors sales are available. Military equipment from the Minnesota Army National Guard will be on display. The event honors military and veterans, past and present, and features Freedom Flight balloon rides weather dependent. Trophy classes include 1899–1954, 1955–present, and a laid back class for non-trophy entries. A Saturday night fun run begins at 6 p.m. on August 15 with a sharp start. Food vendors and ATM services are on site. Pre-entry fee is $10; gate admission is $15 for adults and $8 for spectators. Children under 15 are free with a paid adult. Sunday service is held at 10 a.m. No pets, bikes, motorized vehicles, guns, or rollerblades are permitted.
