Trunk-Or-Treat At Culture Lab Lic

Culture Lab LIC hosts a Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween festival to benefit Make-A-Wish, with all proceeds going to the organization’s work for children with critical illnesses. The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m. at 5-29 46th Ave in Long Island City.

Families decorate the trunks of their cars and gather in the parking lot to hand out candy, offering a family-friendly alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Local families, vendors and staff distribute candy from the decorated trunks, and every child receives a Halloween treat bag to fill.

The festival includes a magic show, face painting, pumpkin decorating and a marketplace of local vendors with treats, crafts and seasonal items. Costumes are encouraged.

General admission is $20 per family, payable in advance through the ticket link or at the entrance. Families who decorate a trunk and participate attend free. Those interested in hosting a trunk can register their vehicle by calling 718-433-4007.
