The Waters family benefit car show takes place Saturday, Aug. 29, at The Holistic Co., 133 N. John St., Goldsboro, N.C. Chris Waters, along with family members Lindsey and Hallie Bug, recently lost their home and family dog in a house fire. The event brings the community together to raise funds to help the family recover.
The car show runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry is $20 per vehicle. There are no trophies and no competition – the show is focused on community support rather than judging. Live music continues from noon through 10 p.m. BBQ plates are available starting at 2 p.m. for $10 each. All proceeds go directly to the Waters family.
